We provide a complete end to end service management for our clients whilst delivering cutting edge IT solutions to small businesses and corporate clients. Our company is seeking a Helpdesk Support Engineer to provide remote & phone technical support to our Managed Service client base.

 

Primary tasks include:

  • Responsible for the resolution of Service Desk enquiries in a timely manner at the same time minimising the risk and business impact on the client
  • Providing application support on desktop, network and Citrix platforms
  • Update the helpdesk system ensuring that we adhere to our customer's service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure that all service documentation, knowledge based articles are up to date at all times
  • Responsible for the administration and management of our real-time monitoring system of client network servers and devices to maximise network availability
  • Escalation of issues where appropriate
  • Assisting some project based tasks Other Tasks: 
    • Produce technical reports as and when required
    • Assist in the development and improvement of business processes.
    • Maintain and update technical processes The successful candidate will have:
  • MCSE or equivalent working knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years experience in supporting Microsoft platform based IT solutions such as Windows Server 2000/2003, AD, Citrix, Exchange Server (Outlook), SQL, DNS/DHCP, networking such as WAN, VPN, and Backup/DR solutions;
  • Ability to deliver superior service to our customers
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential
  • Ability to take ownership of problems
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A result orientated and enthusiastic attitude Cisco and Linux experience is an advantage but not essential
