solutions to small businesses and corporate clients. The LC9 team

technology and progress. Our company is seeking a Helpdesk Support
Engineer to provide remote & phone technical support to our
Managed Service client base.
Primary tasks include:
- Responsible for the resolution of Service Desk enquiries in a
timely manner at the same time minimising the risk and business
impact on the client
- Providing application support on desktop, network and Citrix
platforms
- Update the helpdesk system ensuring that we adhere to our
customer's service level agreements (SLAs)
- Ensure that all service documentation, knowledge based articles
are up to date at all times
- Responsible for the administration and management of our
real-time monitoring system of client network servers and devices
to maximise network availability
- Escalation of issues where appropriate
- Assisting some project based tasks Other Tasks:
- Produce technical reports as and when required
- Assist in the development and improvement of business
processes.
- Maintain and update technical processes The successful
candidate will have:
- MCSE or equivalent working knowledge
- Minimum 3 years experience in supporting Microsoft platform
based IT solutions such as Windows Server 2000/2003, AD, Citrix,
Exchange Server (Outlook), SQL, DNS/DHCP, networking such as WAN,
VPN, and Backup/DR solutions;
- Ability to deliver superior service to our customers
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
are essential
- Ability to take ownership of problems
- Excellent time management skills
- A result orientated and enthusiastic attitude Cisco and Linux
experience is an advantage but not essential
